Raiders add elite WR prospect in latest 2024 mock draft

The Raiders have some big decisions to make this offseason. Obviously, finding a general manager and a head coach is at the top of their priorities list, but there are other big decisions that need to be made on the offensive side of the ball.

One is the future of All-Pro WR Davante Adams. It was a rocky season for the star receiver and it’s fair to wonder about his future in Las Vegas. Should he leave, the Raiders would be searching once again for a No. 1 receiver.

In a recent mock draft done by Bleacher Report, the Raiders selected Washington WR Rome Odunze with pick No. 13. Here is why B/R believes Odunze would be a great fit in Las Vegas:

Quarterback remains unsettled. Veteran wide receiver Davante Adams may be traded. Others brought in by former head coach Josh McDaniels, such as wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, may not be long-term fits in Sin City. Instead, the Raiders can reset and bring in an elite talent like Washington’s Rome Odunze.

It’s hard to imagine the Raiders selecting Odunze if Adams and Meyers return, especially with the emergence of Tre Tucker. Hunter Renfrow is likely to leave this offseason, but that only means that Tucker should see more snaps.

Odunze is a fantastic player and worthy of being selected at No. 13. But it doesn’t make a ton of sense for the Raiders with how their roster is currently constructed.
