The Portugal Euro 2024 squad has been announced, with Roberto Martinez opting to finalise his 26 ahead of the tournament in Germany.
The 2016 European champions travel to Euro 2024 among the favourites, with Roberto Martinez taking over from Euro 2016-winning coach Fernando Santos in the dugout, while Cristiano Ronaldo is set to appear in his sixth European Championship. The Spanish manager will be hoping to achieve what he couldn't as Belgium boss and win a major tournament, while Ronaldo will want to add a second international honour.

Martinez's second international managerial job, the Spaniard will want to step over that line into success that he never quite achieved with Belgium. While he led them to third at World Cup 2018, the Belgium 'Golden Generation' ultimately failed in their overarching goal - something Martinez won't want a repeat of with this talented Portugal Euro 2024 squad.
The former Everton, Wigan Athletic and Swansea City boss did manage a 100 per cent record in qualifying, with eight wins from eight, conceding just twice. A 2-0 defeat to Slovenia in the March friendlies means there's still plenty of work to do, however.
