The Boston Celtics needed a strong game against the Atlanta Hawks to get their vibes right after a road loss to the Orlando Magic on Friday afternoon, and perhaps still smarting from that Magic loss, put together a solid if unflashy 113-103 win vs. the Hawks.
On a night that saw Boston shoot just 27.7% from deep, the Celtics defense held Atlanta to their lowest score of the season as Boston won the rebounding battle by 15. Nearly doubling the Hawks’ 5 steals and shooting 80% from the free throw line to Atlanta’s 63.2% certainly helped the Celtics get the dub Sunday night as well.
