Pensioner, 87, reported missing from Scots care home found 'safe and well'

A pensioner who disappeared from a Scots care home has been found.

Police officers were searching for Jessie Leckie who was last seen leaving a care home in Corstorphine, Edinburgh at 3.05pm on Sunday, January 8.

Now, officers have confirmed that Jessie has been traced 'safe and well'.

They thanked the public for their help.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We can confirm that Jessie Leckie, 87 years old, reported missing from the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh, has been traced safe and well. Thanks to all who assisted."
