Norwich vs Leeds live stream: How to watch EFL Championship playoff game online and on TV, team news

Patrick Bamford of Leeds United in action ahead of the Norwich vs Leeds EFL Championship playoff match.

The Norwich vs Leeds live stream is the first leg of this crucial EFL Championship playoff semi-final, with a place at Wembley potentially just 180 minutes away — and you can watch it from anywhere with a VPN.

Norwich vs Leeds live stream, Date, Time, Channels

Norwich hardly romped their way to the final playoff place, losing to relegated Birmingham on the last day of the Championship season. Fortunately Hull were also defeated by lowly Plymouth, meaning they finished three points behind the Canaries with an inferior goal difference, but David Wagner's side have hardly filled their fans with confidence recently. Just two wins in their last six games, plus a poor away record, makes this a must-win tie.

Leeds also lost last weekend – a 2-1 home defeat to Southampton – but even if they'd won, Ipswich's victory meant automatic promotion was never on the menu. It was just the latest in a run of poor results, which saw Daniel Farke's side win just one of their last six games. Considering success in the playoffs is often about momentum, that doesn't bode well for the Whites.

Here's how the teams line up:

Norwich XI: Gunn (GK), Stacey, Duffy, Gibson, Giannoulis, Nunez, McLean, Rowe, Sara, Sainz, Sargent.

Leeds XI: Meslier (GK), Byram, Firpo, Ampadu, Rodon, Gruev, Kamara, Gray, Summerville, Gnonto, Georginio.

Both teams will want to secure an advantage ahead of the second leg later this week, so read on to find out you can watch a Norwich vs Leeds live stream wherever you are.

Watch Norwich vs Leeds from anywhere

Away from home at the moment and blocked from watching the soccer on your usual subscription?

You can still watch Norwich vs Leeds live thanks to the wonders of a VPN (Virtual Private Network). The software allows your devices to appear to be back in your home country regardless of where in the world you are. So ideal for viewers away on vacation or on business. Our favorite is NordVPN. It's the best on the market:

Using a VPN is incredibly simple.

1. Install the VPN of your choice. As we've said, NordVPN is our favorite.

2. Choose the location you wish to connect to in the VPN app. For instance, if you're away from the U.S. and want to view your usual U.S. service, you'd select U.S. from the list.

3. Sit back and enjoy the action. Head to a service listed below that's showing the soccer and watch the game.
