MSU Basketball at Penn State: Stream, broadcast info, prediction for Wednesday

Michigan State basketball hits the road on Wednesday looking to overcome its year-long road struggles in a battle at Penn State.

Michigan State comes into this matchup with a 15-9 overall record and 7-6 mark in conference play. However, Michigan State is a disappointing 1-5 in road games this season.

Penn State is 12-12 overall and 6-7 in conference games this year. The Nittany Lions have been better as of late, though, with a 3-1 record in their previous four games.

Can Michigan State overcome its road struggles to top Penn State on Wednesday? Check out my prediction and all of the key game details for this matchup between the Spartans and Nittany Lions below:

Robert's Game Prediction

Prediction: MSU 67, Penn State 69

After the Spartans’ losss at Minnesota last week, I told my Spartans Wire peers that I wouldn’t give MSU the benefit of the doubt in road games anymore. Michigan State is the better team than Penn State, but the Spartans have only one win away from home this year, and I’m at the point where I need to see it to believe it with this group. This prediction may be fueled by bitterness and spite, but even optimistic Spartans fans have to be skeptical of MSu winning this one despite being the road favorite.

Andrew's Prediction

Nick King/Lansing State Journal

Prediction: MSU 69, Penn State 67

Look, Michigan State has struggled mightily hard on the road. But, they are favored in this game, and they match up really well with Penn State. If they aren’t able to pull this one out, we may have to officially and fully re-calibrate our expectations for this team.
