Mrs Hinch issues apology to fans as she details scary hospital dash with three-year-old son saying 'nothing prepares you'

Mrs Hinch has told fans of her recent woes after her young son suffered a terrifying health scare. The influencer, whose real names is Sophie Hinchliffe, announced the news via an Instagram Stories statement alongside an apology to her loyal fans and followers.

The lengthy message to her five million readers began: "Hello everyone, so sorry for the radio silence over the last week. Everything just seems like fog right now."

Sophie, who is also mum to younger son Lennie, went on to explain: "Ron's temp spiked to over 40 and his neck was swelling, limited head movements, I couldn't keep meds or fluids in him. We were taken to A&E and sent home with antibiotics and it just didn't feel right. My gut told me no. So after phoning 111 we were taken back in and thankfully admitted.

"Since having IV antibiotics we are seeing a really really slow improvement but we will be in here for a little longer yet, as we need to get his temperature satisfactory and need the antibiotics to kick in."

Candidly sharing her own feelings, Sophie, 33, went on to say: "Absolutely nothing prepares you for something like this does it. Just being on a children's ward, seeing so many innocent little arms bandaged with cannulas. I just can't comprehend the whole thing. But I just wanted to check in on here very quickly whilst Ron's asleep.

"I share so much of my life on here, the good and the bad, I have a fantastic support network from my followers, so I just wanted to say thank you for so many messages, I haven't vanished I promise [wink emoji]. Enjoy this beautiful sunshine, the fresh air, everything. What I would give to be back home with all my boys. Lots of love to you all and catch up very soon xx."

Sophie shared the message to her Instagram Story (Mrs Hinch Instagram)

She then rounded off the post by sharing a positive she found in the scary situation, adding: "Ps Ron smiled away in the ambulance, loved seeing all the buttons and wires and now thinks his cannula is his own little wire of magic. What did we ever do to deserve children. They make this world so beautiful."

It comes just a couple of months after Mrs Hinch was forced to take a break from her cleaning hacks and other content on social media as back in April, the mum-of-two confessed she'd been going through a series of "life stumbles" that demanded her full attention.

Her explanation read at the time: "I'm sorry for not being on Instagram as often right this moment, It is only temporary I promise, I do really miss being on here somedays. I'm just going through a few personal life 'stumbles' right now ad have been for the last 3 months. But all is ok and we're getting there."

Mrs Hinch later shared with her fans how her dad had spent some worrying time in hospital and how the family's beloved chicken Pam 'suddenly' died.
