Mindy Kaling Embraces Bermuda Shorts Trend, Inspires Fashion Experimentation

Actress Mindy Kaling embraces Bermuda-length jean shorts, or jorts, in a recent Instagram post.

Mindy Kaling recently sparked a fashion trend by embracing Bermuda-length jean shorts, commonly known as jorts. The actress-producer took to Instagram to showcase her experimentation with this nostalgic style, which extends to the knee, in a series of photos.

In her Instagram post, Kaling paired her mid-wash Bermuda shorts, featuring a lace trim, with a bra, pinstripe blazer, frilly white socks, and loafers. She humorously mentioned that the outfit would have been best photographed without a bra but opted to keep it on for the day.

Seeking feedback from her followers, Kaling asked for opinions on the Bermuda-length shorts, inviting discussion on this revived fashion choice. Notably, she is not the only celebrity mom to embrace jorts, as Kourtney Kardashian also sported a pair of pink Bermuda shorts during a Barbie movie date with her children last summer.

Kaling has gained recognition for her stylish Instagram posts, showcasing a diverse range of outfits. From colorful Andie Swim bikinis to a custom Manish Malhotra gown adorned with 4,000 Swarovski stones, she has demonstrated a flair for fashion across various settings.

Embracing patterns and unique designs, Kaling has been seen sporting printed pieces like the Libertine shacket, featuring utensil motifs. Her playful approach to fashion, as evidenced by her quirky choices, serves as a reminder to have fun with dressing up as we transition into the spring season.
