Michelle Keegan grabs a nap on co-star's shoulder as she returns to Manchester after moving into mega Essex mansion

Michelle Keegan appeared to need a few extra winks as she was spotted filming upcoming scenes for Brassic. The actress, from Stockport, was seen back in Manchester working on the next installment of the Sky comedy, weeks after the much-anticipated fourth season arrived on screens.

The show - also starring This Is England’s Joe Gilgun and Coronation Street youngster Jude Riordan - was originally released in 2019 and seasons one to three follows Vinnie and his mates, who haven’t got two pennies to rub together. It sees broke band of brothers finds themselves in a web of petty crime, which often ends in disaster as they wind up in over their heads.

While the final episode of season three saw Michelle's character Erin Croft 'run away' with her son Tyler, leaving Vinnie and her friends behind, but she wasn't gone for long as the first episode of the new series saw the cast 'hit the road for Ringo and Babs' Welsh wedding'.

And it seems certain she'll be back for another series as she was spotted filming alongside co-star Tom Hanson, who plays Cardi in the popular series. Michelle, 35, looked stunning with her shiny dark locks styled into soft curls. The former Coronation Street star stood out in the flawless snaps thanks to her eye-catching, 70s-inspired yellow headband.

While we couldn't see all of Michelle's outfit as she channeled her Brassic character, we could see she was fighting off the chillier temperatures in a zip-up top and quilted bomber jacket. Meanwhile, Tom couldn't be missed in a colourful jacket and a baseball cap as he chatted with his co-star and the crew between takes.

Michelle could be seen resting on Tom's shoulder, appeared tired as she got stuck into work after finishing up another big project for the BBC. But she was quickly back in good, and lively, spirits as she was seen laughing with the cast and crew on set.

The former soap star, who played Tina McIntyre in Corrie from 2008 to 2014, was also spotted filming her latest scenes for the Sky comedy Brassic mid-last month. She looked gorgeous while donning a purple Argyle mini dress on set of the Sky Max comedy in Manchester. The 35-year-old showed off a hint of a bronzed glow as she paraded her toned pins in the thigh-skimming number which had been teamed with a pair of knee-high black boots.

She was all seen in some images keeping warm in a furry black hooded jacket while the former soap star's glossy brunette locks had been swept up into a loose up 'do, which was being kept in place with a patterned silk ribbon. At the same time, Michelle couldn't help but reminisce about her working trip Down Under. She posted a series of great pictures from her trip - including beautiful views of the Sydney Opera House, burning sunsets and behind-the-scenes snaps from her time on set.

Michelle jetted off to Australia to film her latest project back in May. She will star in the new BBC drama Ten Pound Poms, created by Bafta-award winner Danny Brocklehurst who she has previously worked with on the Sky comedy drama Brassic and BBC drama series Ordinary Lies.

The drama is set to follow a group who have been promised a better quality of life in Australia for only £10, leaving behind post-war Britain. Michelle will lead the six-part series alongside Games Of Thrones star Faye Marsay and Luther actor Warren Brown.

Meanwhile, it has been a busy time personally for Michelle and she and husband Mark Wright appeared to finally move into their indredible new home. The former TOWIE star confirmed that he and his wife have finally moved into their new Essex mansion, three years after purchasing the mega-pad.

The TV and radio presenter showed that he's settling in nicely as he shared a clip of himself answering the door to a takeaway delivery. Mark greeted their first takeaway on Saturday night- a range of pizzas with various toppings - with enthusiasm. In a clip shared on his Instagram, he answered the door saying: "First pizza delivery for the new house."

Mark and Michelle have been keeping fans up to date on the progress of their dream home on the dedicated Instagram account @wrightyhome which has 450,000 followers. The couple, who married in 2015, bought their stunning mock-Tudor style house in Essex back in October 2019 and began knocking it down in 2020 to rebuild their own luxury mansion, reportedly worth around £3.5 million.
