Cohen expressed frustration, stating, 'I can’t believe I’m not going to Washington. I’ve saved that guy’s a** so many times, you don’t even know.'
While Davidson shared this anecdote, it was noted that Trump appeared disengaged from the conversation. To pinpoint the date of the call, Davidson presented a receipt from the store where he was shopping at the time – December 9.
During questioning by Prosecutor Joshua Steinglass, Davidson was asked to describe the store's decorations. After a brief pause, he likened the store to a warehouse-like big box store transformed into an Alice in Wonderland-themed setting. Davidson vividly recalled the presence of oversized rabbits as part of the store's decor.
