Megan Thee Stallion has been making waves in the music industry in 2024, following her departure from a long-standing record label. The Grammy-winning rapper's latest release, 'Wanna Be,' a collaboration with GloRilla, has debuted at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart, solidifying her position as one of the most successful artists of the year.

With this achievement, Stallion becomes the first musician in 2024 to claim more than one No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart. Prior to this, only 10 artists had achieved this feat. 'Wanna Be' marks the first collaboration to top the chart this year, propelling Stallion back to the summit of success.

Throughout the year, several notable musicians have also secured the top spot on the Digital Song Sales chart, including Ariana Grande, Benson Boone, Beyoncé, Cardi B, Jack Harlow, Jimin, Nicki Minaj, Teddy Swims, and Tracy Chapman. While some artists have maintained their position for multiple weeks with the same track, Stallion's success with 'Wanna Be' sets her apart.

Earlier in the year, Stallion achieved her first No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart with 'Hiss,' which also debuted at the top of the Hot 100 chart. 'Hiss' garnered over 100,000 pure purchases, driven by a publicized feud between Stallion and Minaj.

'Wanna Be' has sold 16,000 copies, securing the top spot on the sales ranking with a lead of over 3,000 copies ahead of the runner-up, Boone's 'Beautiful Things.' While the song narrowly missed the top 10 on the Hot 100, it debuted at No. 11 on the prestigious chart.

The track 'Wanna Be' is featured on GloRilla's latest project, 'Ehhthang Ehhthang,' which has also made a strong entry into the top 20 on the Billboard 200 chart, further solidifying Stallion and GloRilla's impact on the music scene.
