Mark Wright sent 'love' by wife Michelle Keegan as he tells fans he's 'sorry' in update after 'tough call' with new home

Michelle Keegan appears to have given her public approval as Mark Wright finally shared a look at their stunning new Mallorca holiday home. The couple's "nightmare" renovation project finally came to an end as they saw the finished apartment for the first time this week.

Former The Only Way is Essex star Mark was given the honours of giving fans an exciting glimpse of what the loved-up pair have been waiting for. And the new abode in Mallorca comes after the couple created their dream home from scratch in Essex

Mark and ex-Coronation Street actress Michelle took fans along with them on the journey of creating their dream home via their own home-based Instagram account, Wrighty Home. And the loved-up pair finally moved into their huge abode, said to be worth £3.5m, in September last year.

Despite the mammoth task with their dream home in the UK, Mark and Michelle, who wed in 2015, clearly like a challenge as they also pruched an apartment on the Balearic Island. And it hasn't come without its problems. In March, Mark revealed how he drove 30 hours to Mallorca to fix up his "nightmare" holiday home after builders did a bodge job.

The TV and radio presenter and a team of builders made the journey after discovering that his hired workers had "created problems". At the time he admitted he has just three weeks to sort the apartment out before the hotel opens for the season. Uploading a video, to Instagram at the time, he captioned it: "30 hour drive to Mallorca, and 2.5 weeks to completely refurb an apartment, that was left to be done last year and turned in to building nightmares.

"As they say, if you want it done Wright, then DIY!" He went on to explain: "If you know me you know that one side of my business life is property development. Just over a year ago I bought an apartment in Mallorca and I left some Spanish builders to deal with it. And let's just say... a nightmare, is exactly what it was."

But all that can be forgotten now as the completed project looks as stunning as we're sure Mark and Michelle hoped it would. Again taking to Instagram, Mark shared a video showing the incredible transformation of the property that gives an idyllic view of the sea from the balcony.

The plush living room is not too dissimilar to the theme seen in their Essex home as they've opted for immaculate cream furnishings which continues into the soft and clean bedroom which again boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with access to what appears to be another balcony.

And the luxury bathroom has been decked out with a freestanding bathtub and chunky marble sinks which match the marbled walls also featured in panels in the kitchen.

To celebrate the end of his Spanish home renovation, Mark shared an epic transformation video that included clips of the property before the project as well as after, but Mark did feel the need to apologise to his 1.8 million followers as he wrote a campton alongside the video.

"FINISHED MALLORCA APARTMENT RENO. Sorry for the delay… if you’ve been following this reno journey it was a tough call if we were gonna get it done in time but we did it!" Mark started his post. "So many of you have asked to see it finished so here we go… Couldn’t have done it without the amazing team that helped me - massive thank you to @justineknox_designer our interior designer, the best in the game!

"To @dankitesurf01 @forestheating @v4woodflooring @graniteslabsuk @bellahomeinteriors @mitresuk @weareiconnic @crosswater_uk @multipanel_it and @johnelmes you all went above and beyond to help us pull this off. It’s been a dream of mine to have a place out here for as long as I can remember, now time to enjoy it!"

And Michelle appeared to show her 'love' for her husband and their completed holiday home as she took to the comments and simply posted a string of heart emojis. Meanwhile, fans also wasted not time in commenting on what they thought.

@deborahparsonson said: "Gorgeous, like a show home in a magazine, very stylish, how lucky are you!!" @gillianfeatherstone commented: "Stunning. Can you come and make over my house please." @nat_alie_h wrote: "Omg as if their house in UK wasn’t enough, look at this."

@sarahlouiseklemm shared: "Simply stunning. Now time for you to enjoy it." @carla_walch posted: "Looks Fab!!! Well done!!" @sandersmrss replied: "That’s beautiful." @bron_shotter added: "Stunningly gorgeous!!! Job well done by the team."
