Ska legends Madness will setting the tone at this year's Lindisfarne Festival, it has been announced.
The Baggy Trousers and House of Fun hit-makers will be getting the party started when the camping festival makes its 2022 comeback while fellow headliners Rudimental will be adding drum and bass vibes to the mix.
Organisers of the Northumberland festival, which will play out at Beal Farm overlooking Holy Island in September, announced its lead acts on Thursday and said they expect tickets - which are on sale now - to be a sell-out.

Founder founder Conleth Maenpaa said: "We can’t quite believe we’ve got both of these acts at the top of the bill for this year’s Lindisfarne Festival.
"It’s such an honour and we can’t wait to welcome them to the main stage."
He added: “The Lindisfarne Festival crowd ranges from 18 to 80 and we think in Madness and Rudimental we have the perfect pair of headliners.
Madness, led by the inimitable Suggs, have remained hugely popular since their eighties heyday, which produced other such singalong favourites as It Must Be Love, The Ghost Train and Driving In My Car, while stand-out performances of more recent years include the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert and the closing ceremony of the London Olympics.
Meanwhile, continuing success for Brit and MOBO Award-winning Rudimental - whose 2012 chart-topper Feel the Love featured in the opening credits of indie-documentary movie Spark: A Burning Man Story - has included a Mercury Music Prize nomination for debut album Home; work over the years with a number of artists and the release in September of their fourth studio album, Ground Control.
Fans are in for a treat at Lindisfarne Festival which, billed as 'the ultimate end-of-summer party' and now in its seventh year, will feature around 200 acts during its September 1-4 run including its namesake - local legends Lindisfarne.
The over-18s event's diverse programme also will include creative workshops, stand-up comedy, yoga and holistic therapies.
Conleth added: “It’s often said that things are going to be ‘bigger and better than ever’ but we truly believe that Lindisfarne Festival continues to build on its success, and every year we make it our business to embrace our ambition and take things up a gear."
