Kirk Cousins Comically Tried on Different ‘Dad Fits’ From His Closet for ‘ManningCast’ Appearance

When Kirk Cousins makes his guest appearance on ESPN’s ManningCast on Monday night, he’ll be dressed to the nines — in “dad” outfits, that is.

In a promo video for the ManningCast, the Vikings quarterback filmed himself in his closet trying out various tops that could be socially construed in today’s day and age as “dad clothes.” Cousins said into the camera, “Hey Peyton… Just wanted your help picking out my best dad fit for the show.”

Cousins proceeds to go through several wardrobe changes from dress shirts to athletic zip-ups to sweater vests, all the while repeating his signature catchphrase, “Do you like that?”

At one point, Cousins makes a good-natured comment on the “Kohl’s cash” that’s “burning a hole” in his pocket, referring to one fan’s infamous tweet about the Minnesota star's clothing choices last season.

Cousins, who led the Vikings to a 4—4 start this year, tore his Achilles in late October and was declared out for the rest of the season.

Monday will mark Cousins’ second appearance on the ManningCast. He last joined Eli and Peyton Manning on the show during the Ravens’ 27—13 win over the Saints in November of 2022. In that guest appearance, the Manning brothers brought up the then-viral video of a shirtless Cousins draped with chains celebrating a recent Vikings win on a plane.

Shirt or no shirt, it would seem there’s never a dull moment when Cousins is on air. ESPN’s ManningCast will cover the Giants-Packers and Dolphins-Titans doubleheader at 8:15 p.m. ET.
