But with just three seconds remaining, Butker secured a 29-yard field goal for the Chiefs, forcing the game into overtime.

Overtime brought even more excitement as Moody added another field goal, this time from 27 yards, reclaiming the lead for the 49ers at 22-19. However, it was the Chiefs who had the last laugh. In the dying seconds of the game, Mahomes found Mecole Hardman for a 3-yard touchdown pass, securing a 25-22 victory for the Chiefs and sending their fans into a frenzy.

Looking at the team stats, the Chiefs dominated in terms of first downs, plays, and total yards. Their offense showcased their proficiency by gaining 455 yards, with Mahomes leading the aerial attack with 325 passing yards. The 49ers, on the other hand, showed resilience with Marshall Purdy's 272 passing yards, but fell just short in their quest for victory.
