Kade Edwards makes Dyfi Bike Park look like child's play in the latest Red Bull Speed of Sound video drop

Kade Edwards ridinf in Speed of Sound edit.

Five years on from his last Red Bull Sound of Speed appearance with fellow downhill MTB ripper Kaos Seagrave, Kade Edwards has dropped his first-ever solo edit. The Red Bull Sound of Speed series showcases the best mountain bike riders from around the globe doing what they do best – sending it in style at some of the gnarliest of trails and the best downhill MTB tracks.

The series is all about MTB riding in its purest form, and the video is just that raw – there's no fancy soundtrack here, just the sound of the bike, the rider and the trail, which delivers a unique viewing experience. It’s a series that has featured many of the best MTB riders over the years with big names like Tahnée Seagrave, Laurie Greenland, Tomas Slavik and Brage Vestavik all appearing in edits in recent years.

This brand new edit is classic Kade Edwards, as he hits the trails at the Atherton's Dyfi Bike Park. Kade of course is no stranger to Dyfi – having raced at Red Bull Hardline many times and his incredible one-take drone video of him riding the Hardline track is also well worth a view too.

In Speed of Sound, he combines his fast, flowing and aggressive riding style with the unique and beautiful lines created by Dan Atherton at Dyfi. Kade hits trails that will be instantly recognisable to anyone who's ridden at Dyfi – just maybe not quite like the way Kade has done it here though. This original take on well-ridden features at Dyfi is breathtaking, as one of the best MTB bike riders in the business sends it in his own unique style.

Kade spoke of his excitement on releasing his Red Bull Speed of Sound edit and said, “I love the Sound of Speed series. It does such an amazing job of capturing the rawness of MTB. It’s always so much fun filming projects like these and I’m so stoked with the final result”
