Jordanian Foreign Minister Warns Of Netanyahu's Tactics Amid Gaza Conflict

Benjamin Netanyaho

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi recently spoke out about his belief that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is using the conflict with Iran to divert attention from the ongoing war in Gaza. Safadi expressed his concerns during a press conference on Monday, highlighting Netanyahu's alleged intentions to shift focus away from the situation in Gaza.

Safadi emphasized that the primary focus should remain on addressing the issues in Gaza and the West Bank to prevent further regional escalation. He stressed the importance of resolving the conflicts in these areas to maintain stability in the region.

Regarding recent attacks from Iran, Safadi stated that Jordan will take necessary measures to protect the kingdom. He explained that intercepting drones and missiles entering Jordanian airspace is a crucial part of their security policy. Safadi clarified that any threat to Jordan's safety, whether from Israel, Iran, or any other source, will be dealt with accordingly to safeguard the country.

He underscored the potential harm that projectiles pose to Jordan and reiterated Jordan's commitment to defending its territory against any form of aggression. Safadi's remarks reflect Jordan's stance on maintaining security and stability in the face of external threats.
