Joe Buck made his ESPN debut during the PGA Championship and made a great Eli Manning double birds joke

The Joe Buck era at ESPN officially began today with the legendary announcer hosting a Manningcast type show during the first round of the PGA Championship.

Buck, who will be calling Monday Night Football games on ESPN with Troy Aikman, used to be the play-by-play guy for golf events at Fox Sports, so he’s used to this whole golf thing.

He’s co-hosting the show with ESPN golf personality Michael Collins and the two are having some fun hanging out and talking about what’s happening in the second major of the year.

Buck had a great line at the beginning of the show Collins brought up the haters who didn’t like his golf announcing days at Fox:

In case you don’t know what he’s talking about….

Double birds should always fly free, in my opinion.

Good times.

Now let’s get you caught up on other fun moments from today’s first round.
