Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff had a stellar season, leading the team to their best year in decades and coming just short of a Super Bowl appearance. In an interview, Goff reflected on the success of the Lions and their NFC Championship Game loss.

Goff expressed his lack of surprise at the team's performance, stating that it was a fun and great year for them. Despite falling a few games short of their ultimate goal, Goff believes they have built a solid foundation that will carry them forward. The Lions had a commanding lead over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game but lost due to a series of questionable calls and mishaps.

While the loss stings, Goff has no regrets and acknowledges that sometimes things don't go your way. He knows there were plays he would have liked to have back or done differently, but that's part of the game. He intends to use the loss as motivation moving forward.

In addition to discussing football, Goff talked about his recent partnership with the jewelry company, Jared. Being named Jared himself and having the same spelling as the company's well-known slogan, 'he went to Jared,' made the connection an easy one. However, Goff emphasized that the partnership goes beyond the play on his name. He appreciated Jared's personalized customer experience and wanted to give back to his offensive linemen.

Goff surprised his linemen with 'Breitling Super Chronomat' watches valued at $11,500 each. The boxes were custom-made, adorned with the Lions' Honolulu blue color, and included a note from Goff himself. He described it as a way to commemorate a special season, even though it didn't end with a Super Bowl victory. Goff values his linemen and enjoys taking care of them when he can.

The success of the Lions this season stirred excitement among the team's fans, who have not been accustomed to seeing their team thrive. Prior to this year, the Lions had only won one playoff game since 1957. The team's playoff run drove ticket prices through the roof, with Lions fever gripping fans. The average ticket price for a playoff game reached $1,097, setting a new record for the most expensive divisional playoff game.

Goff acknowledged the passion of Lions fans and noted that the experience was unlike anything he had ever witnessed. He believes the fans are ready to carry the enthusiasm into the future and that it was a special time in Detroit. Despite the loss, Lions fans are eager for the team to return to the field and continue their success.

Overall, Goff remains optimistic and motivated. He believes in the potential of the Lions and is grateful for the support from the fans. The quarterback's partnership with Jared and his generosity towards his linemen highlight his commitment to the team and his desire for future success. With Goff leading the way, Lions fans can look forward to an exciting and promising future.
