ITV I'm A Celebrity 2022 line-up 'in full' with music icon, a royal, Corrie favourite, and Loose Women star

There are just days to go until I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here returned to screens from Australia and we are sure it's not just us who can hear Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnely's cries from the opening credits.

But what fans of the ITV reality show have really been waiting for is the line-up and this week, the stars of the 2022 series have been landing at Brisbane Airport as the show returns Down Under for the first time in two years after the last two series of the much-loved programme have been filmed in North Wales due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Hosts Ant and Dec have shared their reactions to the cast of the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity which is set to include a music icon, a Lioness, a Corrie favourite, and a Loose Women star. A new video clip sees the presenting duo exude a mixture of shock, excitement and approval on discovering the contestants heading into the Australian jungle in November.

Dec, 47, said of one celebrity: “She’s fun and feisty,” adding about another: “She would hate every minute of it.” Meanwhile, Ant, 46, said: “We knew we’d get you on there one of these days,” with Donnelly adding: “We saw him and he never let on. Sneaky boy.” Speaking of a male celebrity, Ant added: “Now I can’t believe we’ve got him. You don’t know what you’ve let yourself in for my friend.”

It now appears to have been confirmed the the likes of Chris Moyles and Love Island's Olivia Attwood, who arrived in Oz earlier this week, are Hollyoaks star Owen Warner, Corrie's Sue Cleaver, and Boy George.

Gogglebox star Babatunde Aleshe, Loose Women's Charlene White, former rugby player and royal through marriage Mike Tindall, Lioness Jill Scott, A Place in the Sun host Scarlette Douglas and comedian Seann Walsh are reported by the Mirror as making up the rest of the star-studded line-up.

The yet-to-be-confirmed line-up for this year's show come as Ant and Dec arrived in Australia earlier this week with their families, ahead of the show premiering on Sunday, November 6, at 9pm, with a 105 minute special. A spokesperson for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has said: "We’ll announce the line up for the new series nearer transmission."

Chris Moyles

Chris Moyles was the first star 'confirmed' for this year's series. When touching down in Australia, the radio DJ commented that "it should be nice" in the jungle as he posed for photos in sunglasses. Hosts Ant and Dec said they wanted to see Moyles as a campmate back in 2012 when Moyles was still a huge star on Radio 1. But he said in a radio chat with pal Vernon Kay he would not make a good campmate.

Speaking at the airport, he added: "I have absolutely no idea what my family and friends would think of me doing a show like I'm A Celebrity. I have never asked them. But I think they would be much more nervous about me doing Antiques Roadshow."

Olivia Attwood

Olivia is set to make history as the first-ever Islander to ever appear on the reality show which will break a previously reported ban on those who have previously tried to find love in the villa entering the hit jungle-based show.

Speaking as she arrived in Australia, Olivia admitted she will missed her footballer fiancé Bradley Dack during her time in the jungle, and confessed she's worried about how her other campmates will tolerate her. "I am scared of me, in terms of how long the other campmates can tolerate me. I will get myself in trouble somehow, the usual," she confessed at the airport.

Owen Warner

Owen, who has played Romeo Nightingale on the Hollyoaks soap since 2018 - has landed in Brisbane Airport and quickly admitted to what he doesn't like.

He said: "I'm scared of all sorts of things to be fair. Snakes aren't a bit of me, I don't know why I have come to Australia! Snakes and spiders everywhere here. I don't mind a bit of camping. When the weather is nice camping is great but when it is raining and cold it is not so cold."

Jill Scott

Former England footballer Jill Scott was spotted arriving in Australia earlier this week. The 35-year-old midfielder, who retired in the summer following the Lionesses' historic win at the European Championship, was pictured arriving at Brisbane airport on Thursday.

When asked what would be more nerve-wracking, the Euros final or the jungle, she said: "That is a very good question but I don't think anything will test my nerves as much as that final. I have never really been confronted by snakes and spiders in England so I don't know how I will react to them, apart from a spider in the bath every now and then."

Sue Cleaver

Corrie star Sue is known for playing Eileen Grimshaw in the ITV soap, and she appeared to be confirmed as the third contestant for this year's I 'm A Celebrity.

Sue has had to tear herself away from her family as she is due to take part in the 2022 run. The 59-year-old was spotted touching down in Oz in the early hours of Wednesday morning Australian time ahead of the launch of the new series. She was snapped dressed in a leopard print cap and matching top as she emerged from Brisbane airport

Mike Tindall

Mike, who is married to the late Queen's granddaughter Zara Tindall, may be making history as the first-ever royal to appear on the ITV show.

Boy George

Culture Club star Boy George, 61, is said to have secured the highest pay cheque in the show's history – with bosses reportedly excited to have signed the star.

An ITV source reportedly told how the latest signing to the new series, which will take place in Australia for the first time since 2019, is "beyond exciting" for the channel.

Charlene White

Charlene is probably best known for presenting ITV News programme but has also been an anchor on Loose Women since 2021.

She said at the airport as she arrived in Australia: "I don't really like creepy crawlies so I don't imagine it was a show I would ever do to be honest. And I am not particularly outdoorsy so I don't know how that would work. I don't camp, I stopped going to girl guides because they kept making me camp so I definitely don't camp."

Babatunde Aleshe

Newer fans will be used to seeing comedian Babatunde Aleshe on Mo Gilligan’s sofa in Celebrity Gogglebox but he'll be swapping the comfort for a hamock after impressing show bosses on the hitChannel 4 show.

Before making it big as a comedian, Babatunde appeared on BBC soap EastEnders as a nurse called Sam who cared for Tanya Branning during her cancer battle

Scarlette Douglas

A Place In The Sun presenter Scarlette Douglas is set to appear on the show following her recent career change. The 35-year-old travel show presenter quit the hosting job after seven years to focus on a new property series for Channel 4, Worst House on the Street, alongside her brother Stuart Douglas.

Seann Walsh

Seann will be making a return to reality TV for the first time in four years. His last stint hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons back in 2018, after he was caught sharing a kiss with Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones.
