Israeli forces arrested 32 wanted terrorists throughout Judea and Samaria and in the Jordan Valley area overnight Tuesday.

The Israel Defense Forces, Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Border Police participated in the wide-scale security operation.

“Six Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists were captured in Kfar Tamon, while in the village of ad-Dhahiriya near Hebron, troops confiscated two M-16 rifles, illicit funds and narcotics. In a separate operation in Kfar Dora, Palestinian stoned Israeli forces, causing damage to a military vehicle,” said IDF.

Troops also operated in Kfar Hizma and the Al-Ayda refugee camp, employing dispersal methods against rioters.

No Israeli casualties were reported.

Separately on Wednesday, Israeli Border Police arrested a 16-year-old Palestinian for stealing three grenades used for dispersing crowds from a security position at Rachel’s Tomb, between Jerusalem and Bethlehem.

The teenager stole the gas and stun grenades on Tuesday night, and was caught the next morning when he returned to steal more, according to police.

On Tuesday night, suspected Palestinian terrorists fired toward the study hall of the Homesh Yeshiva in Samaria.

No casualties were reported, and Israel Defense Forces troops were sweeping the area.

Following the incident, the yeshiva’s administration called on the government to legalize the northern Samaria community.

Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli forces thwarted a terror attack on a military checkpoint on Mount Gerizim in northern Samaria.

Three terrorists drove to the checkpoint from nearby Shechem (Nablus) and opened fire at the soldiers manning it from approximately 330 feet (100.58 m) away, according to the IDF.

“The vehicle containing three armed assailants arrived at the HaShomronim neighborhood in Nablus and opened fire toward IDF soldiers conducting routine activities in the area. The soldiers returned fire, killing all three of the assailants,” said the IDF.

The Hamas terror group claimed responsibility for the attack.

“Over the last three years, the area of Jenin has been the largest source of terrorists. About 25% of the population in this area is affiliated with the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization and approximately another 20% of the city’s population is affiliated with Hamas, also a terrorist organization,” said the IDF.
