Holly Willoughby felt like a 'competition winner' amid Platinum Jubilee celebrations

Holly Willoughby has admitted she felt like a "competition winner" after being invited to the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in London on Sunday.

The mother-of-three was seen having a ball on one of the buses during Sunday's Jubilee Pageant in the capital.

Holly was snapped loving life on the open air rooftop bus alongside BBC Radio 2 host Rylan and Coronation Street actor Antony Cotton.

The group were in good spirits as they partied together to celebrate the Queen's 70-year reign.

As she opened Monday's This Morning, Holly gushed about the weekend to her co-host Phillip Schofield.

"The bus was amazing, it was like you couldn't believe what you were seeing, so many people, so much love and affection, it was just magical," Holly told Phil.

"You were seeing a piece of history, amazing. I'm just overwhelmed, I still can't quite believe it," the 41-year-old TV presenter continued.

"We felt like competition winners, it was amazing, it was so good," she added.

Father-of-two Phillip then said: "It really did bring people together. Lots of people who had been locked in. I thought one of the triumphs was the concert."

Holly replied: "I mean, we really did put on the most fantastic show didn't we?"

"No country in the world does it like we do!" Phillip remarked, as Holly continued: "You couldn't have been prouder turning on your TV and seeing that!"

"I had tears in my eyes so many times over the weekend," Phillip then admitted as he referenced Sir David Attenborough's appearance over the weekend.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
