Here's the full list of Critics Choice awards 2022 winners

Australian actors Sarah Snook and Murray Bartlett won in their categories at the Critics Choice Awards. (HBO)

Australian actors Sarah Snook and Murray Bartlett took home trophies from the Critics Choice film awards, one of the last major ceremonies before the Oscars at the end of the month.

Snook took out Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role in Succession, while Bartlett won Best Actor in a Limited Series for his role in the dark HBO comedy White Lotus.

But Snook wasn't there to collect the trophy, catching the presenters off-guard.

Her Succession cast mates Keiran Culkin, Brian Cox and Jeremy Strong told the press room she wasn't there to collect her award because she tested positive for COVID-19.

She only tested positive that day, according to The Hollywood Reporter

There was less success for Aussies on the big screen, with Nicole Kidman missing out on Best Actress in her role as Lucille Ball in Being the Ricardos, and Kodi Smit-McPhee missing Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Power of the Dog.

However, New Zealand-born, Australian-trained director Jane Campion won best Best Director for The Power of the Dog.
