'God doesn't want you to have children': Vicky Pattison cruelly trolled over decision to freeze eggs

Vicky Pattison has revealed vile trolls drove her off social media after she revealed plans to freeze her eggs.

The former Geordie Shore star, 36, documented the difficult and often gruelling process online last year after spending £7,000 on the procedure as her fiancé Ercan Ramadan, 30, didn’t feel ready to start a family.

Pattison has now recalled some of the disgusting comments she received at this time, including “God doesn't want you to have children” and that she was “messing with nature”.

“I was pumped full of synthetic hormon es. I was feeling low. It was the last thing I needed,” the one-time I’m A Celebrity Jungle Queen told The Times

“I had people saying I’m messing with nature. It’s unnatural what I’m doing, and if I haven’t found someone to have a baby with me maybe I should just give it up, you’ve got to assume those remarks are just designed to hurt.”

Despite the emotional turmoil she went through, Pattison stuck to her guns and went through with the egg retrieval with 10 being collected. Three eggs, which were fertilised with Mr Ramadan’s sperm, were successful and frozen, while a further three eggs survived to make it the freezing process.

She continued: “Regardless of the statistics, I know I have done the right thing for myself, my relationship, and if everything goes to plan, my future family, I want to be the best mother I can be, and for that to be possible I need to be in the right place, with certain things already accomplished. I’m content with the decision I have made.”
