Gemma Atkinson claps back at Gorka Marquez as he returns home after 10 days and asks 'what's happened in here'

Gemma Atkinson wasted no time in clapping back - albeit jokingly - at her other half Gorka Marquez as he popped home following the opening night of his latest tour. The Strictly Come Dancing star is back on stage alongside co-star and fellow dancer Karen Hauer.

The pair are back on the road with their Firedance tour, a passionate dance theatre show, which kicked off on Thursday night (February 23). As well as Gemma, Gorka's 2022 Strictly partner Helen Skelton was among the stars sending Gorka and Karen good luck messages ahead of their opening night.

Sharing a black and white snap of them both on her Instagram Story, the former Blue Peter host wrote: "What a privilege to say I shared more than one dance with @gorka_marquez and more than one gin and tonic with @karenhauer. Wishing you the most fun and the loudest crowd... can't wait to see Firedance when am back... Two of the best in the business," she added with a string of heart and dancer emojis.

But after being away from home for a couple of weeks ahead of the tour starting, Gorka returned back to Greater Manchester where he was reunited with Gemma, who is currently pregnant with the pair's second child, and their daughter Mia, who turns four in July.

However, Gorka, 32, quickly had a complaint and he didn't mind sharing it with his Instagram followers. Filming the couple's home gym, the Spanish-born dancer could be heard saying behind the camera: "So I've been 10 days away. I came back... look at the gym," as he showed the room which had equipment dotted around in different places.

"What happened in here, Gemma Atkinson," Gorka then cried. "Oh my goodness me," he added as he tagged his wife-to-be in the post. And Hits Radio host Gemma, 38, didn't take too long to respond.

Sharing the video to her own Instagram Story, she wrote: "Never known ANYONE get so OCD with a gym being clean. If only he was so bothered about the house," adding a face palming emoji and crying laughing emoji.

It comes after Gemma spoke about Groka being away earlier this month. She said in a video posted to her Instagrsm Story: "Gorka's back on the road now. He's back touring. Gone rehearsing [for] Firedance. Have you got your tickets? [It's] gonna be very good."

She then went on: "So, solo! I'm riding solo so my house is going to be on it's a**e which is fine, it always is. Probably knackered but hey ho. Keeping moving is what they say. Lean with it rock with it. It's what you gotta do."

Gemma then got chatting to her toddler who appeared to tell her that someone wanted to marry her. "Has he got you a ring?" the mum-of-two-to-be asked to which Mia said no. But Gemma replied: "Wooo. You have to ask your dad first." Gemma then got chatting to her toddler who appeared to tell her that someone wanted to marry her. But while he was away, it did appear that Gorka was pining for Gemma as he shared a cute video to his social media page. Re-sharing a video of two adorable dogs cuddling up and napping together, Gorka wrote on his Instagram Story: "Me as soon as I get home..." before tagging Gemma, who also revealed the pair are preparing to welcome a baby boy when they announced their wonderful pregnancy news last month, and adding a love heart eye emoji.

Gemma then reshared the post and fave a further insight - particularly into the romantic side of their relationship. She typed: "This is true, which for me is only doable [for] 40 secs. Then I have to do a Ross on Friends and roll him off so I can starfish," adding a crying laughing emoji.

The former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale star was referring to the scene in the episode titled The One With The Jam in which Ross, played by David Schwimmer, teaches his pal Chandler, who was portrayed by Matthew Perry, how to successfully roll his girlfriend over, without waking her, so they could both enjoy a comfortable night's sleep.

However later, when Chandler tried the trick for himself on on-off girlfirned Janice, he ended up rolling Janice off the bed and she found herself with her arm in a sling. And it appears he told Janice what Ross was doing as she let slip the trick to Rachel who ended up annoyed at Ross' actions.

Sharing a clip of the scene which sees Ross showing Chandler what to do, Gemma jokingly shared: "In my case, hug for him!" alongside multiple crying laughing emojis.
