Future Faces 2022 shortlist revealed

The shortlist for the 2022 Future Faces awards has been unveiled.

The annual celebration will recognise achievement among professionals aged 35 and under from across Greater Birmingham.

Engineering consultancies Arup and Mott MacDonald and mobile payment firm Voilo are among those to receive multiple nominations across the 13 different categories.

One individual category winner will be chosen as the overall Greater Birmingham Young Professional of the Year and receive a fully funded MBA.

The event is run by Future Faces which is the young professionals' arm of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce and this year's awards will mark ten years since its establishment.

The 2022 awards feature a new category for health and wellbeing alongside a new president's award and the ambassador prize which is given to a member of Future Faces.

Chris Brewerton, head of Sutton, Lichfield and Tamworth chambers who led the judging panel, said: "We've had over 80 young people apply for the Future Faces Awards this year.

"It was a privilege to read through all the applications alongside the judging panel and the very high quality of entries highlights the calibre of young people working in the Greater Birmingham region.

"We can't wait for all the shortlisted nominees to be able to come together and celebrate their achievements."

The ceremony will take place on August 26 at the ICC in Birmingham.
