FTSE 100 Live 17 April: UK Inflation at 3.2%, shares flat after big fall yesterday, ASOS £270m loss

The FTSE 100 is set to open flat today, after the worst day in nine months yesterday.

Meanwhile, UK inflation will be focus. The rate of price rises dipped to 3.2%, the lowest since September 2021 but a little ahead of expected.

Among the companies reporting figures are Rio Tinto, Antofagasta, Asos and Entain.
