Fans could not believe how Victor Wembanyama made a baseball look so tiny in Yankee Stadium visit

We’re just a couple days away from the NBA Draft, and there’s virtually no drama at the No. 1 spot. Victor Wembanyama — the 7-foot-2 (likely taller) phenom from France — has known he’s heading to San Antonio ever since the Spurs drew the top pick in the draft lottery.

That leaves Wembanyama with a few days to enjoy New York and the country that he’s about to call home. So, of course, that meant taking in America’s Pastime.

It became quickly apparent, though, that Wembanyama might be too large for baseball.

In his Tuesday visit to Yankee Stadium, Wembanyama took some time to meet the Yankees players, sign autographs and enjoy the pregame scene.

That visit turned into pure comedy when Wembanyama decided to hold a baseball and a bat. He made a baseball look unbelievably small.

Tell me that’s not a golf ball. You can’t.

He also made an actual baseball bat look more like a novelty bat.

Wembanyama’s unique combination of skill and physical gifts is why he’ll be going No. 1 on Thursday. But I don’t know — I can’t get enough of seeing him holding regular-sized objects and making them look tiny. Fans seemed to agree.

This was how Twitter reacted

Someone needs to teach him how to pitch. We must see that.
