Everything you need to know about Arctic Monkeys' North East gig - stage times, predicted setlist and more

Arctic Monkeys will arrive in the North East come Monday, with the indie-rock giants gracing Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium to play a set jam packed with anthems old and new.

The Sheffield four-piece, fronted by Alex Turner, are currently on tour across the United Kingdom and Ireland promoting their latest release in The Car - which landed October last year.

The long-play, which includes hit singles such as There'd Better Be a Mirror Ball and Body Paint, has went down a treat since landing - despite the contrasting direction to the band's beloved fast-paced and energy-fuelled earlier tracks alike, which no doubt defined an era.

But it seems as though the rock and roll elite haven't forgotten their roots from Whatever People Say I Am...opening a sold-out tour starter at Bristol's Ashton Gate with Mardy Bum - and including absolute anthems like Brianstorm, Fluorescent Adolescent and I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor in their set.

And ahead of the band's highly-anticipated appearance in Middlesbrough come Monday, we thought we would compile a list of everything you need to know - from set times to potential tracks to be played on - on the big night itself.

When are the Arctic Monkeys playing the Riverside?

Arctic Monkeys are set to play Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium come Monday (June 5), in their fifth UK show of the current tour so far. By then, they'll have already played out hits in Bristol, Coventry, and two nights at Manchester's Old Trafford.

When do doors open?

The fan villages at the stadium open up at 2.30pm on the day itself, with the stadium bowl and pitch area set to open up at 5pm. Hospitality areas will also open their doors at 5pm.

What time will the Arctic Monkeys play and who is supporting?

Arctic Monkeys are set to take to the stage at 8.50pm sharp, with support on the tour coming from Swedish rockers The Hives and Liverpool outfit The Mysterines. The Hives are best known for high-energy hits like Hate To Say I Told You So and Tick Tick Boom, while The Mysterines have released tracks such as Dangerous and Love's Not Enough.

The Mysterines open the proceedings at 6.40pm, with the Hives belting out their own set at 7.45pm.
