Emmerdale viewers slam 'error' with lurking Caleb episode

ITV1 viewers called out a specific element of tonight's episode of Emmerdale as Caleb managed to show up to hear several important conversations.

In the last scene of the episode, Moira and Cain had an emotional conversation in which Moira said she was going to sell her farm. She'd had a difficult episode after screws were found in her products, and Health and Safety was called in to investigate.

As the couple spoke on a bench in a field, the camera swung around to reveal Caleb, who had been lurking behind them listening to the whole thing. Some viewers took to social media to voice their opinion that it was 'unrealistic' Caleb wasn't spotted.

Sonia Stephenson tweeted: "#emmerdale. So Cain and Moira don’t know that creepy Caleb is standing a few yards behind them. Do me a favour Emmerdale stop insulting our intelligence. You really are the pits."

Chris P said: "#Emmerdale ffs him again. How the f**k did that creeping jesus wee wet s***e get behind that tree without anyone seeing him?"

Similarly, Beckie Miller had had enough of Caleb's lurking. She said: "Now Caleb’s lurking behind a bloody tree. Has he got fed up of hanging about in Kim’s house all day? #Emmerdale"

"Manny just phoned Caleb, if he was that close to Coira they'd have heard him #emmerdale," Carole Ann said.

@fussyMcWhiskers said: "#Emmerdale Caleb turns up - AGAIN! Standing there, hands buried in pockets playing with his wingnuts! What's he doing in the field where Cain & Moira are having a moment????"

The episode also saw Charity tell Mack they wouldn't be getting back together after seeing him with Chloe, and Nicky trying to get into Kim's laptop.
