Emmerdale viewers say Nicky will be unleashed as the next big villain and will likely "strike again'".
Nicky fell out with his father Caleb, after the latter forced him to marry Gabby so he could gain an advantage against his adversary Kim. When Nicky failed to do it, Caleb went after him, driving him out of the village.
On his return a vengeful Nicky pushed Caleb off a ridge and injured him seriously, putting him in a coma. But, just as the police arrested Mack for the crime Caleb woke up.

Viewers had theorised Caleb would pick one of his enemies as the person who pushed him. But when Caleb woke up, he confronted his son, who was with him in hospital. Nicky, who is the one who actually pushed Caleb, said: "Mack is lucky you didn’t die, he would have gotten a murder charge".
But Caleb stopped him short, telling him he knew exactly what happened. Caleb said: “It is good I didn’t die. That would have put you on a murder charge. Stop pretending you care. I know exactly what happened. It was you who pushed me.”
"You were hoping to find me asleep so you can finish the job?"
Nicky said: "You are not really going to grass me up dad are you?"
Caleb replied: "I could put the finger on you or Mckenzie, so if you see the police coming. Know that I have chosen you".
And that conversation has left viewers thinking Nicky looked evil and would probably strike again to kill Caleb. Or do something else sinsiter.
