Emmerdale fans slam Dan for 'making things' worse as they predict fall out with Amelia

Emmerdale viewers are not impressed by Dan who blatantly lied to his daughter Amelia during tonight's episode (Mon).

Last week Dan punched Lloyd in the face, knocking him unconscious. Dan was arrested for it after a shocking confession but later released on bail.

But, on today's episode, Dan was recalled for a police interview, leading Amelia to get extremely worried. During the interview Dan was caught in several lies and eventually told he was being charged.

On return to the house, Dan was asked by Amelia what had happened, but he lied. Instead of telling her he had been charged with causing Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH), he made up a story about just going away for a walk.

And this has upset fans, who claim Dan is once again creating problems by trying to hide something that will eventually come out. Fans are now predicting that Amelia will catch her father in a lie and their relationship will suffer for it.

@GrocottJanice said: "Dan's a complete @&$£ why didn't he tell Amelia #emmerdale" @MeeshyJay wrote: "Dan deserves to be charged for stupidity #emmerdale"

@KellyBlackx tweeted: "Dan really needs to stop lying to Amelia! #Emmerdale".
