Eagles vs. Rams: 10 players to watch in Week 5 matchup

The Eagles (4-0) are on the West Coast for their second road game of the season when they face the Rams (2-2) in an intriguing matchup against the NFC West heavyweight undergoing a rebuild.

Entering Week 5, Philadelphia is the only undefeated team in the division and one of two in the conference (49ers).

The Eagles will be without four critical contributors for Sunday’s matchup with the Rams, as Fletcher Cox, Cam Jurgens, Marlon Tuipulotu, and Sydney Brown will all miss the contest.

With kickoff fast approaching, here are ten players to watch.

Tutu Atwell

After failing to log a single stat as a rookie in 2021, Atwell caught 18 of his 35 targets for 298 yards and a touchdown in 2022. He also added 34 rushing yards and another score on nine rushing attempts a season ago.

This season with an increased role, Atwell has already registered 22 catches, 270 yards, and a touchdown.

Tyler Higbee

Higby has 16 catches for 196 yards on the season, and he’ll be a player to watch in the red zone.

Sua Opeta

Sua Opeta will replace an injured Cam Jurgens in the Eagles lineup.

According to Pro Football Focus, Opeta didn’t allow a single pressure in 16 pass-blocking snaps against the Commanders last Sunday.

Opeta will now play a key role against Rams star defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

Cobie Durant
