Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd leaves fans emotional with special behind the scenes tribute to soap icons

Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd left fans feeling emotional as he revealed a special behind-the-scenes tribute to two of the soap's icons. The actor, who is famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, shared a video to his Instagram which showed himself and his co-star Julia Goulding.

The pair appeared in a mirror inside a lift as they stood outside the transportation. Those watching the video then saw the doors close to show Jack and Vera Duckworth's photos plastered over the doors.

The legendary soap couple, played by the late Bill Tarmey and Liz Dawn, were both puckering up so when the doors closed, the pair were sharing a kiss. As the full picture appeared, Julia, who stars as Shona Platt in Corrie, could be heard sweetly saying: "Aww."
