Coronation Street fans are likely to recognise a new character on the cobbles during tonight's episode - as the actress has had a spell in Weatherfield before.
Bernie Winters returns from a trip to the shops with Joseph's new uniform - and a posh blazer for herself. When she admits it was actually given to her in error, Gemma and Chesney urge her to take it back.
Before long, a lady calls at Number Five and introduces herself as Fern, claiming Bernie has stolen her posh jacket - due to the pair looking incredibly alike.

Fern is played by Gabrielle Glaister, who actually appeared in the soap back in 2000, playing Deborah "Debs" Brownlow. Debs turned up at the Rovers Return after working on cruise ships for a number of years, reuniting with sister Natalie Barnes - portrayed by Denise Welch.
Debs spent nine months living at number 6 and working as a hairdresser At Audrey's salon. She left the street after ending her relationship with Duggie Ferguson (John Bowe), running off with Natalie's ex-boyfriend Vinny Sorrell (James Gaddas).
Bernie actress Jane Hazlegrove actually came up with the idea of her character having a double after she and Gabrielle were constantly mistaken for each other. She mentioned the possible storyline to writer Jonathan Harvey and the Bernie/Fern mirror image plot was developed with Gabrielle cast as Fern.
Gabrielle has also had roles in Corrie's rival soaps Emmerdale and Doctors, as well as Brookside in the 90s. She is also well known for her portrayal as Bob/Kate in Blackadder.
