Colorado commit (?) Jordan Seaton may not be committed to Deion Sanders anymore

The recruitment of Jordan Seaton will continue, with the five-star offensive tackle not signing on Wednesday with Colorado and head coach Deion Sanders, as had been the plan.

The consensus top recruit offensive lineman in the nation, Seaton committed to Colorado two weeks ago in an appearance on FS1’s ‘Undisputed.’ Now, Seaton’s recruitment is very much up in the air, including a cryptic social media post on Tuesday night that now seems to be indicative of the offensive lineman’s decision being stretched out further.

He is the No. 11 prospect in the nation by 247Sports.

The landing of Seaton was an impressive and meaningful recruiting battle for Sanders as he went head-to-head with some of the best programs in the nation to land the offensive tackle. It will be fascinating – and perhaps telling – to see if Sanders can land Seaton now a second time in as many weeks.

Maryland and Oregon are reported to be involved now with Seaton. The Ducks have been impressive in the early signing period with a couple of high-profile flips on Wednesday.

Seaton has not posted on social media since Tuesday when he had his cryptic tweet:

At 6-foot-5 and 287 pounds, Seaton is coming off a strong season for IMG Academy (Bradenton, Florida). IMG finished fifth in the nation in the USA TODAY HSS Super 25.
