CloudVocal’s EverSync wireless in-ear monitor system delivers high-quality, low-latency monitoring in a compact, pedalboard-friendly design

When it comes to wireless in-ears, we all want – and need – a product that delivers pristine sound in a super-dependable, hassle-free and easy-to-operate format.

With that in mind, CloudVocal’s new EverSync Wireless IEM is the complete package. A wireless in-ear monitor system built for live performers who rely on personal monitoring to hear themselves clearly onstage, the EverSync is not only easy-to-use, it also comes in a convenient and compact pedalboard-friendly design.

As Paul Riario points out, the EverSync’s transmitter “arrives in the desirable form factor of a compact stompbox design, with an even more lightweight and compact receiver that fits in the palm of your hand.”

But that’s not all: The EverSync offers low latency, high-quality monitoring – operating, Paul says, “in the super-reliable 5.8GHz bandwidth and not the more crowded and common 2.4GHz band found on other wirelesses.” The EverSync’s Broadcasting setting allows multiple receivers to simultaneously have 24bit/48KHZ high-quality audio in less than 5ms latency, and supports four separate monitoring mixes for various scenarios.

And with isolated power design, the transmitter can be either powered by USB-C cable or standard DC-9v effect pedal adapter. Two input sources, with built-in DI and thru output provides flexibility to the performer.

The EverSync boasts an OLED screen that allows users to navigate through all the features effortlessly, and there’s also a volume limiter on the body pack to protect hearing, a built-in USB audio function that allows streaming and content creation, and an extra 1/8-inch aux-in input for enabling another audio source while pairing with the transmitter.

But the best way to be wowed by the EverSync is to see – and hear – it in action. With that, Paul demonstrates how the system works, running a drum machine into Input 1 and a Positive Grid Spark GO guitar amp into Input 2. He also points out, “There are multiple options on how you could run this system – an acoustic or guitar modeler into Input 1, and then a front of house mix or backing track from your iPad or even your vocal mic into Input 2. There are many possible applications.”

His verdict?

“Overall, the CloudVocal EverSync wireless in-ear monitor system offers a lot of versatility and flexibility for the price,” Paul says. “Just the fact that it operates in the reliable 5.8GHz bandwidth makes it a desirable wireless unit. For all that it does the EverSync is hard to beat as a budget in-ear monitoring system. It’s easy-to-use and over-delivers.”
