Christine McGuinness reveals she 'won't live with Paddy forever' as she explains 'changes'

Christine and Paddy McGuinness have recently hit headlines as they announced that their 11-year marriage had come to an end.

The pair - who are currently still living together - share three children, Penelope and Leo, nine, and Felicity, six.

The Blackpool-born star revealed how she's making it work with her TV presenter ex-husband, Paddy, who she married in 2011, and says they’re cohabiting because they “don’t want to change anything too quickly” reports OK!.

Christine also said that Paddy, 48, was 'proud' of her documentary and supportive of her work. But she also admitted that she would expect nothing less from him, given that for years whilst he was out working she held the fort at home.

She told OK!: "We definitely don’t want to upset them or change anything too quickly, and for me as well. I like slow changes, and we’re alright – we’re family. I’ve known Paddy for 15 years, so I don’t know life without him. It is what it is."

In her recent BBC documentary Christine McGuinness: Unmasking My Autism, Christine looked for answers as to why it took so long for her (and thousands of others) to be diagnosed with autism following the news she and her three kids all have the disability.

Since she was diagnosed in 2021, Christine, 33, has made it her mission to speak about the struggles she’s had over the years, and how much sense everything makes now she’s had a diagnosis.

Christine’s journey of self-discovery came after her nine-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, and their younger sister Felicity, seven, were all diagnosed with autism.

The mum-of-three has recently proudly admitted that the family have developed “coping mechanisms” to help them deal with difficult situations.
