Christine McGuinness has cheeky response to being asked about 'Ken' as she channels Barbie after Paddy split

Christine McGuinness had a cheeky response when she was asked the whereabouts of her 'Ken' as she suggested she was channelling Barbie during a reunion with her Coronation Street star pal.

The model appeared to be filming after joining forced with Colson Smith, who plays Craig Tinker in the ITV soap. Over the weekend, Christine commented on Colson's latest social media post where she admitted to 'counting down the days' until they saw each other.

And when they did finally come together on Monday (July 10), the pair were seen posing for a selfie in the back of a car. Christine posted the smiling snap to her Instagram Story and shared a string of emojis - a filming camera, a car, eyes and a smiley face.

She then took to her main grid where she shared a string of photos - without Colson - of her stepping out of the vintage vehicle. Christine, 35, looked stunning in white top which she wore tucked into a pair of hot pink trousers.

She added a pair of white trainers to her look while her blonde locks had been styled into bouncy curls. Christine couldn't hide a smile for the trio of images which she shared with her 711,000 followers and said: "Hi Barbie, you wanna go for a ride?" before adding: "Fun day filming, excited for tomorrow!"

And the compliments were soon coming in for Christine - and the car. @suzanneschofield11 said: "Gorgeous. And the car is gorgeous of my my first cars and I absolutely loved it." @duncan_ash replied: "You're Stunning in Pink. Christine!! The Beatle was my Mum & Dad's first car."

@old_montey commented: "You and that little beatle (sic) look great together." @kerry.batty.3 wrote: "Living doll.. just gorgeous inside and out. Inspirational." @hilarythornton68 shared: "You look incredible, the car is awesome and you are very inspirational." @paul840edwards added: "Attractive car with a gorgeous driver."

But when one of Christine's followers asked: "Can you show me where Ken is please?" Christine laughed and simply replied: "The search continues!" with a crying laughing emoji.

It comes after Christine gave a fresh insight into life following her split from her husband Paddy McGuinness. The former couple announced they had separated "a while ago" back in July last year after speculation grew over their relationship status.

Christine and Paddy, confirmed the end of their marriage to their fans and followers on July 22 last year in a joint statement which they shared on social media. The former couple, who share twins Leo and Penelope and youngest daughter Felicity, are still living together in their Cheshire home.

in a new chat with the Mirror, Christine has shared how she finds the prospect of dating "petrifying" as she gets on with her new life as a single woman. "The thought of dating is actually my worst nightmare," she said. "I’ve just never really done it. When I met my husband, we were friends first. I think that helped, it worked because I never had that pressure of, ‘What do I wear? Where do I go? What is the food going to be like? Will I like the restaurant?’ The idea of dating, for me, is petrifying."

Christine, who was diagnosed with autism aged 33 after all three of her children received the diagnosis, did go on to explain: "It’s sensory for me. A typical date, from what my friends would say, is you go for dinner, or you might have some drinks. I don’t drink and I don’t really enjoy eating in different places with people that I don’t know. Once I’m comfortable with someone, that’s lovely. But I don’t know how I am supposed to get to that point."

But as for her life post-Paddy, Christine admitted: "Nothing has really changed. I don’t feel like a young, free and single person. Life’s good. I’m just very calm and peaceful and I don’t want anything to disturb that right now."
