A player who understands similar early success is Baseball Hall of Famer Derek Jeter, who had more than a fair share of success throughout his legendary career. The New York Yankees great, who currently works for FOX Sports, recently did a special one-on-one interview with Mahomes at Arrowhead Stadium. The two superstars have crossed paths in the past as Jeter wrote a feature in honor of Mahomes for Time’s annual list of the 100 most influential people of 2020. Jeter also faced off against Mahomes’ father during his career on multiple occasions.
