Busted reunion tour 2023: dates, support acts and how to get tickets

Busted is back. The hit band are going on tour to celebrate their 20th anniversary, and will be stopping in Liverpool.

Charlie Simpson, Matt Willis and James Bourne are touring the UK with their 20th Anniversary & Greatest Hits Tour in autumn. The tour kicks off in Plymouth at the start of September, and the penultimate gig of the tour will take place in Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena in Friday, September 22.

The first ticket event is on, as fans can buy pre-sale tickets through O2 Priority today via Ticketek and Ticketmaster (March 29) from 9am. For those who don't qualify for today's sale, there is a venue pre-sale happening from 9am on Thursday, March 30, before the general sale this Friday, March 31 at 9am.

Those who get tickets will also get to see Hanson perform on the night, best known for their hit song MMMBop. Busted took to Instagram to announce the tour, along with a video with Charlie, Matt and James speaking about the band's history.

The video starts with a VHS labelled 'Busted' being put into a TV. James said: "A decade is a long time, two decades is an even longer time." Charlie added: "I think Busted really broke the mould when we started."

James said: "We were writing songs that made us laugh, and the songs that made us laugh made other people laugh and feel good." Matt added: "Everything we did seemed to go really well, and then it was over."

The video also has footage from some of Busted's biggest performances. Describing the tour, Charlie said: "It's about celebrating what Busted meant to the fans and about us being able to go out and share that experience with them."

The tour isn't the end of the good news, the band will also release a 15-track album reworking all your favourite songs. The first single will be released April 14, a new version of Loser Kid featuring Simple Plan, aptly named Loser Kid 2.0.
