Britain's Got Talent viewers believe they know identity of CGI cat Noodle

Britain's Got Talent viewers believe they have cracked the identity of the Computer Generated Image (CGI) cat named Noodle.

They were left bamboozled after a CGI cat took centre on Saturday night and got a resounding review from judges, however, less than a few hours later they are convinced they know who is behind the act.

Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli were shocked when animated cat Noodle stepped on the BGT stage, The Daily Record reported.

It led to viewers at home very confused at the cartoon cat.

“What is he supposed to do?” judge Bruno asked questioned while Alesha agreed: “This might be the most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen.”

Speaking in a childlike voice, the cat led a rendition of Feeling Good by Nina Simone, after which it garnered all yes votes from the panel. Despite this viewers were less than impressed with the "unusual performance."

One said: "WHAT AM I WATCHING WHY IS THERE A CGI CAT AND WHY ARE THEY ACTING LIKE ITS SO NORMAL WJAT IS HAPPENING #BGT."

Another incensed: "So going by what Noodle the Cat “apparently” did by auditioning, maybe next year someone could bring an mp3 of someone singing and a cardboard cutout of a giraffe, and as long as the singing is good, they are through. #bgt."

One question that remained on everyone’s minds however, was who exactly was doing the singing, as it sounded like a skilled professional, OK Magazine reported.

One fan was said the entrant was all down to the producers as the CGI voice when not singing, and sounded quite like the ones used in rival ITV show The Masked Singer.

“This singing cat act is an idea producers have come up with, off the back of Masked Singer,” one offered.

Another was convinced it was a former McFly singer who had taken to the stage. They said: “Tom Fletcher from McFly/McBusted, is the voice.”

Another viewer thought it may be iconic magician Marc Spellman at the helm as they added: “Plot twist: the cat is Marc Spellman.”

Another fan hypothesises that it was BGT’s very own Tom Ball doing the singing. They said: “That cat thing is 100% Tom Ball’s voice.”

Despite no hints being given as to the name of the mystery performer, fans couldn’t understand why someone with such an iconic voice would not want to show their face.

“Can I ask why the singing CGI cat just didn’t audition for #bgt as himself? Why feel the need to be an animated cat pls??” asked one final curious fan.
