Brighton vs West Ham: Prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds today

West Ham face a tough test away at Brighton today as their battle to avoid Premier League relegation continues.

The Seagulls, enjoying a fine season sat in eighth place with European football in their sights, are exactly where the Hammers hoped they would be at this stage of the season, though manager Roberto De Zerbi will be absent this afternoon after being hit with a one-match touchline ban.

Instead, last weekend’s thumping win over Nottingham Forest clawed tWest Ham out of the drop zone and, despite an FA Cup defeat by Manchester United in midweek, David Moyes’ side have lost only one of their last five in the top-flight.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Brighton vs West Ham is scheduled for a 3pm GMT kick-off time today on Saturday, March 4, 2023.

The match will take place at the Amex Stadium in Brighton.

Brighton vs West Ham team news

Pervis Estupinan and Solly March are both fit for Brighton today, while Billy Gilmour is a big doubt.

Levi Colwill is set to miss out along with Jakub Moder and Adam Lallana. Joel Veltman and Robert Sanchez should return after being rested in the FA Cup win at Stoke.

Maxwel Cornet and Kurt Zouma are close to making returns for West Ham, while Vladimir Coufal could also return this weekend. Lukasz Fabianski though is out long-term and Alphonse Areola will continue in goal.

Danny Ings should start after being cup-tied in the week with Jarrod Bowen also set to return.

Brighton vs West Ham prediction

The Hammers have a bit of a knack under Moyes, albeit a diminished one of late, of taking points off the high-flying sides and a trip to the Amex could be just one of those days.
