Best WOW! Deals for Amazon Prime members only

Amazon’s spring sale is in full flow, with discounts across the board from kids' toys and cleaning essentials to garden furniture and laptops

Unlike the online giant’s flagship Prime Day sale, which happens in July, this one - called Amazon Spring Deal Days - is open to everyone, whether you hold a Prime membership or not. However, there is an extra incentive for Prime holders to jump into this sale. In an exclusive corner of the retailer’s website, you’ll find a section named WOW Deals.

True to its name, these offers from major brands and manufacturers are available only for those with Amazon Prime membership, so if you have resisted the call so far, now’s the time to pounce. We’ll give you a sneak peek of the kinds of juicy deals on offer below.

But first; is Prime membership worth the bother?

Prime membership benefits

Signing up to Amazon Prime is about more than speedy deliveries - though in an emergency you’ll be grateful to have it. The fee also includes access to Amazon’s universe of services, benefits and perks, from the latest blockbusters on Prime Video to books and games to lose yourself in. Prime members can get cheap deals on Odeon cinema tickets, free Deliveroo delivery, and special deals on Amazon Grocery to make the weekly shop less of a drain on your wallet.

All this and so much more for the rather reasonable sum of £8.99 a month or £95 a year. Students get a sweeter deal at £4.49 per month or £47.49 per year.

You don’t have to dig around for your credit card just yet - Amazon offers 30-day free trials for those curious about giving membership a spin. What is there to lose?

What are the WOW! Deals?

These are special Prime-exclusive offers from top brands for the sale period only. Each day of the six-day event will be dedicated to a certain area, with relevant discounts from big-name brands.

Today it’s household goods in the spotlight, so if you’ve been meaning to kickstart your spring cleaning or looking to save on a big new purchase, your patience is about to pay off.

You better be quick though: each product is available in a limited quantity and for 8 hours only.

We’ve cherry-picked the best tech deals to check out below.
