BBC Bargain Hunt expert 'put in place' as he scolds buyer for error

A Bargain Hunt expert was "put firmly in his place" as he scolded a buyer for an error on today's show.

Eric Knowles returned to front Tuesday's edition of the popular BBC programme. Two more teams were given £300 and browsed an antique market in King's Lynn to see who could make the biggest profit.

The blue team consisted of Lorna and Katrina, who were assisted by expert, Mark Stacey. The buyers had an hour to find their items and Mark was concerned when his first suggestion was shot down by Lorna because it was chipped.

Lorna continued to be unimpressed by the items at the antique market and was about to walk away from another antique, which prompted Mark to step in. He said: "No we need to make decision. We've got to start making decisions."

Mark was relieved as the team eventually bought three items for £146 in the alloted time. He joked: "I knew we were going to have trouble the moment I met you. But it's ahppy trouble."

Eric asked Mark if he needed "therapy" after the search as the expert responded: "Lorna has put me firmly in my place."

The blue team eventually lost £3 when their items went to auction as the red team were announced as today's winners.
