Barcelona vs Real Madrid lineups: Starting XIs, confirmed team news and injury latest for El Clasico today

Real Madrid have left Luka Modric on the bench for today's El Clasico with Jude Bellingham starting against Barcelona after a slight injury worry.

Bellingham is primed to spearhead Carlo Ancelotti's diamond formation once again, in behind Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr as Real's chief creative force.

Brazilian forward Vinicius Jr heads to Catalonia having found himself once again at the centre of a race controversy, after Barcelona board member Miguel Camps dismissed his claims of abuse and said he'd "slap" the Madrid man for showboating in a now-deleted social media post.

Aurelien Tchouameni, Fede Valverde and Toni Kroos are set to complete the midfield while Dani Ceballos is injured, as are Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao.

Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha are fit for the Barcelona bench and the hosts are without the injured Pedri, Sergi Roberto, Jules Kounde and Frenkie de Jong

Joao Cancelo is preferred on the wing to teen sensation Lamine Yamal.

Barcelona XI: Ter Stegen; Araujo, Christensen, Martinez, Balde; Fermin, Gavi, Gundogan; Cancelo, Torres, Felix

Subs: Lewandowski, Raphina, Pena, Alonso, Romeu, Kounde, Astralaga, Yamal, Casado, Cubarsi, Guiu, Fort

Real Madrid XI: Kepa; Carvajal, Rudiger, Alaba, Mendy; Kroos, Tchouameni, Valverde; Bellingham; Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo

Subs: Lunin, Pineiro, Nacho, Modric, Camavinga, Joselu, Vazquez, Garcia, Brahim
