Arsenal XI vs PSV: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Champions League today

Mikel Arteta has made changes as expected for Arsenal’s Champions League dead rubber against PSV Eindhoven.

The Gunners are already confirmed as winners of Group B and PSV have secured second place and a spot in the last 16.

Aaron Ramsdale makes Champions League bow in goal for Arsenal, while academy graduate Reuell Walters will hoping to make his debut off the bench full-back.

Jorginho and Mohamed Elneny both play midfield, while in attack Eddie Nketiah, Leandro Trossard and Reiss Nelson all start. Gabriel and William Saliba both start at centre-back, while Kai Havertz keeps his place in midfield

Injuries have forced Arteta to take a strong squad to Eindhoven as the Gunners are without five first-team players.

“We have five or six big injuries so we are already a bit thin,” said Arteta.

“I don’t know in another context what I would have done, but I also want everyone together with the mentality to win. I want to see that in their tummies tomorrow.

“The job technically is done, but the job is not completely done. It is our duty as representatives of Arsenal to win every game and to give a big performance against a team that is going to make things very difficult as they have shown the past two years.”

Arsenal XI: Ramsdale; Cedric, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior; Elneny, Jorginho, Havertz; Nelson, Nketiah, Trossard

Subs: Raya, Hein, White, Walters, Zinchenko, Sousa, Rice, Nwaneri, Smith Rowe, Odegaard, Saka, Jesus
