Scots tennis star Andy Murray has shared rare snaps of a family holiday in Marbella as he enjoys some quality time with his wife Kim Sears and their four children.
The 35-year-old took to Instagram to share some photos of his ‘training week/holiday’ in sunny Spain. Andy and Kim are parents to Sophia, seven, Edie, five, Teddy, three, and a two-year-old believed to be called Lola, who was born in secret during lockdown, writes The Mirror.
Posting the pics to his 1.9 million followers, Andy penned: “Just finished a great training week/holiday with my team and family @puenteromanorresort in Marbella.
“What a great place thanks so much for looking after us. Now on way to @rolexmontecarlomasters for first time since 2017. Wish me luck.”
The first photo shows a loved-up Andy and Kim smiling for a selfie in the sunshine. Kim looks trendy in a black and white striped T-shirt and oversized black sunglasses.
Another photo shows Andy enjoying some training on a tennis court at the resort and a third snap proud dad-of-four holding one of his kids above his head as they enjoyed a swanky lunch with palm trees in the background.
Despite the holiday partly being a work trip, the Murray family made sure they had some quality family time on the beach.
And in the last pic, Andy is seen with what looks like two bandaged toes as his kids play with toy cars and stones they have collected from the beach. But throughout all the snaps, he was careful to keep his children’s faces shielded from the camera.
Andy and Kim are yet to publicly reveal the name of their fourth child, who was born in March 2021 but gran Judy Murray appeared to accidentally let the cat out the bag to the Scottish Daily Mail.
In her Sunday newspaper column for the publication, Judy spoke about her highlights for 2021. She said: “In March, I became a granny for the fourth time as Andy and Kim welcomed baby Lola, sister to Sophia, Edie and Teddy.”
Andy and Kim, the daughter of tennis coach Nigel Sears, first met at the 2005 US Open when they attended the same party.
They made their relationship official in 2006 and dated for nine years before getting engaged in November 2014. The pair went on to tie the knot in Andy’s hometown of Dunblane in April 2015.
