Amanda Holden gets caught by strong gust of wind as she dons mini dress to work

Amanda Holden didn't count on some strong winds after a scorching weekend as she slipped into a typically stylish mini dress for her return to the office.

The Heart FM host donned a light purple wraparound mini dress as she started the new week with a great look.

But a sudden gust made life a little tricky as she flashed a smile before getting busy in the studio.

Her blonde hair down around her shoulders, Amanda wore trendy shades as she enjoyed the sunshine.

Teamed the look up with matching heels, she held on to a small crocodile-skin bag as she welcomed Monday in with a bang.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 52, recently revealed her children are very supportive of her fashion choices - regardless of her daring her wardrobe have become.

"My family are only ever encouraging," she told the Sun.

"Lexi and Hollie see me trying on frocks all the time at home and are the ones saying: ‘Go for it, Mum. We love that and you look great.’

“Fashion is about taking risks. I encourage everyone to have a little fun and be a little daring. I’d be bored playing it safe.”

Last week was difficult for Amanda after her ex Les Dennis said he felt “damaged” by how their marriage ended.

But now, two decades later, he has forgiven her and Les, 69, says he has no hard feelings towards his ex, who said “nice” things about him recently, which he said was “kind”.

“We’re not in touch but I am happy that she’s happy,” he said. “I can watch Britain’s Got Talent without getting angry.”

“To be honest it’s like watching a different person - someone I’ve never met.”

He added to the Sunday Times: “All the hurt that has happened has been healed.”

The couple wed in 1995 when she was 22 and he was 40, and split in 2002 following the affair.

In March, Amanda said she felt the relationship had “safety” which she craved when they married, explaining: “I was very young and I had a lot to learn about life.”

She also previously told how it was her ex-husband who got her through the period after their split.

“Les proved to be my saviour. Ironically,” she said. “So the person I’d hurt the most in the world was the one who was there for me.

“It was a very dark time. It got to the point where I felt I could hardly breathe.”

She added: “I brought it on myself, I appreciate that, but nothing will ever be as bad again.”

Amanda has two children Lexi, 17 and Hollie, 11, with husband Chris Hughes - the son of Les’ former agent Mike Hughes.

Neil, 60, apologised for the affair in 2014.
