'All day' - Joe Cole and Owen Hargreaves agree on Jude Bellingham vs Enzo Fernandez verdict amid Liverpool links

Owen Hargreaves says he would "throw everything" at Liverpool target Jude Bellingham after Chelsea splashed over £100m on Enzo Fernandez.

The 19-year-old captained the Bundesliga side in their last-16 Champions League clash with Graham Potter's side as he went head-to-head with Fernandez, a player he could gazump to become the most expensive British transfer. For the Argentine, he made his Champions League bow for the Londoners following his £105m move from Benfica on deadline day.

His move came after an astronomical rise from River Plate to the Portuguese outfit before shining in Argentina's triumph at the World Cup in Qatar. After his big-money move to Stamford Bridge, many questioned how much the England international would be worth after reports surrounding a move to Liverpool, ahead of a summer set to be filled with speculation over his future at Signal Iduna Park.

"I think we all absolutely love Jude, he can virtually play in every position," Hargreaves raved over Bellingham. "He'll play as a 10 and score goals so I think we're all looking forward to seeing him against Enzo.

"Jude all day, I don't care what he costs throw everything at him, you've got one of the best players of the next decade," he replied after he was asked by Rio Ferdinand whether he'd take the former Birmingham City youngster over Chelsea's midfielder.

Meanwhile, Cole described the Reds target as a "generational talent", he added: "Chelsea fans wouldn't have understood what he brings but he's an all round midfielder, he can bring, lend the ball, passing range great, scores goals.

"Jude is different, I think Jude's a generational talent, I don't think we'll see a player as good as him for many many years, he's got everything. Even I would put Jude ahead of Enzo Fernandez although they are different players."
